Didi, Uber's Prime Rival In China Will Set Foot in Self-Driving

With what seemed like a thing of the future, or a part of a science fiction, self-driving has come a long way. Numerous car manufacturers and independent technologies are storming their minds in the self-driving industry - many coming with fruitful results. And there is another one in the queue.

In a meeting with Bloomberg, Didi and CE's founder and CEO Cheng Wei said he is chasing for information researchers in Silicon Valley to build up a self-driving car. Didi Chuxing purchased Uber China in a $35 billion arrangement over the late spring. 

Cheng included that he's likewise been in chats with Gansha Wu, the previous chief of Intel Labs who additionally established UiSee Technology, a Beijing-based self-driving car organization. 

Uber is propelling its self-driving car endeavors all alone. The ride-hailing administration as of late launched a pilot in Pittsburgh where select Uber riders can hail a self-driving car. This means that Didi will have to excite its advances further.
