2018 Lamborghini Aventador vs 2018 Ford Mustang: Can American Muscle Hold A Candle To European Supercar?

Ford's 2018 Mustang Shelby GT500 comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Whereas the 2018 Lamborghini's predecessor boasts of a 740 hp at 8,4000 rpm output. A power at 509-lbft torque at 5,500 rpm.  The 20018 Lamborghini Aventador is expected to be faster by at least 107 hp from its 2015 predecessor.

The Italian car maker's flagship model can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. However, its US contender the 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 lags behind by a mere second at 3.8. However, it's rumored that its engine output would match the Lamborghini at 740 hp as well. This is not bad, considering the huge gap the two sports car has in terms of price.

The price tag as usual for the 2018 Lamborghini Aventador doesn't come cheap. It is expected to be around $400,000-$460,000. That is already good as a payment for a mansion in most states.

As for its release date, no official announcement has been given by the Italian sports carmaker. However, the 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 with its price and specifications is not a bad substitute.

If you're still oblivious which sports car to choose, read on. Don't just go with the hype on the most recent sports car release.

First, ask yourself, will it be a convertible or coupe? If you're still undecided, consider your location's weather.

One must also consider the lifestyle he or she intends to live. A sports car may not suit a starter family. Most sports car comes with a two-seat capacity.

There is four-door sports car. However, those doesn't offer enough legroom, headroom and boot space. That being said a prospect buyer must also consider his or her height.

A prospect buyer also has to consider the power and performance that comes with a sports-car. Do you live in the city? Your neighbors may not be pleased with the noise that comes with your car. However, if you live in an estate or suburbs far from your next-door neighbor then you're all set to buy one.

Lastly, one has to make sure he or she can afford it. In Dubai back in 2012, when their economy crashed, sports and luxury cars were left abandoned mostly abandoned by fleeing expats.

There is no shame in living within one's means. Now, should one or two be all set to buy a sports car - they have to make it count. It can be a patriotic choice. It can also be that European sports car which one saw in the movies when he or she was with a close relative or friend.

In the end, be sure to buy that sports car because it is your choice. You'll be the only one in the end who can help yourself in choosing the right one.
