It is power-charged by a diesel-powered turbo engine. Orders for the 2017 SEAT Ateca can be placed with the three trim level options.

The options include S, SE and EXCELLENCE. Seat's Ateca entry-level vehicle price is expected at around $22,910 and a top of the line version will be available at an estimated price tag of $38,178.

The 2017 SEAT Ateca's sleek design comes off as a made-over version of the Leon Hatchback. It highly resembles its cousin Leon's design, down from its headlamps to its black plastic cladding. There are also roof rails, a roof spoiler and an angular light cluster.

It also bears an uncanny resemblance to Volkswagen's Tiguan. The only difference is that there is a bit of boot space compromised. However, this should not be seen as a setback. The 2017 Seat Ateca boasts of a 510-liter capacity. Whereas, Renault's Kadjar at 472 liters.0

The 2017 Seat Ateca's design isn't really far off from its rivals. This includes the usual infotainment screen that is five inches across. However, for the dashboard, it does have a six and a half inch screen. The infotainment screen is flanked by a few air vents as well. The Spanish SUV, in general, follows a sleek, crisp and minimalist design philosophy.

Though there are controls enabled from the touchscreen, shortcut buttons are made available to control the AC. The Ateca offers two diesel engines.

The diesel engines come in a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol and a 1.4-liter four-cylinder. The output for the first engine mentioned would be 114bhp and 148bhp for the second engine. Its reported emission comes from 120 to 125 grams per kilometer of carbon dioxide. This means for European buyers that they need to pay an annual road tax on or before April of next year.
