Estify Startup Company Helps Estimate Auto Repair Costs

In this year alone, there have been 10,710 recorded accidents in the US. With accidents happening all around, its time that a tech company comes up with an innovation to make it easier for the car owners and car repair shops, and that time has come. The good news is that such a tech company is already here!

Estify is a startup company that promises to help auto repair businesses by giving close estimations of services for insurance claims. The tool does this by making the process of rekeying estimates into the management software easier.

In a Fender Bender report, repair-show owner Adam Grant said that the process when done manually usually takes 10 minutes for him, but for others who are less experienced it could take hours. This is the case because differing estimating softwares meant differing prices, which needs to be uniformed with the amount of money issued by the insurance company.

Estify helps by doing the rekeying step on its own. All Grant has to do is upload the estimate from Mitchell, CCC or Audatex, the three big estimating software platforms, to the Estify website.

He will then select his management system and the Estify staff will do the rest for him by copying the estimate into the correct format. Grant will only have to wait for a text notification that its done and check his email for the estimate.

Estify has raised a total of $250 million in capital and made $28 billion return to investors. Just recently, the company has raised $6.3 in financing according to Techcrunch. The round was led by Romulus Capital.

"While we're thinking about making cars autonomous, it's important to remember that nearly 100 Americans die every day in automobile accidents. While the process of repairing vehicles continues to increase in complexity, the technology available to repairers has not kept up," said Neil Chheda, who is a partner from Romulus.

"The lack of data-driven accuracy in this industry costs lives and billions of dollars. This problem must be solved, and Estify's team and technology is uniquely positioned to solve it."
