‘Modern Family' Season 8 Spoilers: New Kids To Join Cast?

As the "Modern Family" eighth season premiere draws closer and closer, series producer Sally Young revealed that there will be additions to the cast as well as new characters, which could possibly include a football player.

The eighth season of "Modern Family" will premiere on ABC tomorrow night and the show's producer recently revealed some spoilers before it appears on screen. As reported by TV Series Finale, there will be a major football player character, that a wedding will occur, a love affair will shake the family, and more children will be joining the cast as well.

The Show's Upcoming Storyline

The "Modern Family" season eight premiere episode will be entitled "A Tale Of Three Cities," wherein the Dunphys will be journeying to New York City with Mitch, Cam and Lily tagging along on to the Midwest. Jay, Gloria, Manny, and Joe, on the other hand, would be on their way to Juarez, Mexico.

The Dunphys, Pritchetts, and Tuckers family will also be reunited in "Modern Family" season eight for Father's Day.

The Show's Cast

Ed O'Neill will still portray Jay Pritchett, Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy, Erin Stonestreet as Cameron Tucker, Sofia Vergara as Gloria Pritchett, Julie Bowen as Claire Dunphy. And Nolan Gould as Luke Dunphy, among others who will likewise retain their roles. Guest stars include Celia Weston who will portray Barb Tucker, Dana Powell as Pam Tucket, and Stephanie Beatriz who will play Sonia.

In other news, Fox News reported that Ariel Winter revealed how hard it was to be a part of the series. She claimed that it had been an uphill battle with a few bumps and bruises, particularly when she received a rejection from a college application to Harvard.

With respect to the upcoming "Modern Family" season eight installment, Winter revealed that she had always been questioning her character, Alex Dunphy, due to her uncanny wardrobe choices.
