FX series have received tremendous audience turnouts for the season that the network decided to renew both "Atlanta" and "Better Things" for season two. In fact, it was revealed that the series would cater to 10 episodes and may be looking at higher chances on staying on television for a while.
The two comedy television FX series has been renewed for their second season all thanks to high viewership this year. According to Hollywood Reporter, the critically-praised series had initially been featured with a couple of episodes at present. However, the two series will be looking at another season since people had been admiring both to remain on screen for a longer period.
Production Reviews For The Two Series
As manifested by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, presidents of FX Networks and FX productions, both FX series had clearly proven themselves to have a positive impact from its viewers. In fact, they both manifested that the shows had been a privilege to produce.
Atlanta
"Atlanta" had been reported to have been in the works for several years before it made its debut as an FX series. Since then, it has been lodged to garner the best premier of any basic-cable primetime scripted debut for three consecutive years in the network, particularly those that belong to the 18-49 years-old demographic.
The series talks about the journey of two cousins fighting their way in the Atlanta music scene to improve their families' living standards. The series is executive produced by Donald Glover, run by Paul Simms and MGMT Entertainment's Paul Simms and Dianne McGuingle.

Better Things
On the other hand, "Better Things" is based upon Pamela Adlon's own life as a mother in Hollywood. She takes her three daughters through the life of celebrities and guided them accordingly while they make their names known in the industry. Starring Pamela Adlon herself, Olivia Edward, Mikey Madison, Hannah Alligood, and Louis C.K., the series had been labeled as the FX series that has the most female-driven audience, reported Variety.
