Jeremy Clarkson's The Grand Tour Gets A Release Date: Watch First Trailer Here

The Grand Tour - the true heir to the Top Gear trio calavera of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond - is set to premiere in Amazon Prime Video on November 18. The producers of the show offered a short trailer for us car aficionados and from the looks of it, the show will be really good.

A New Beginning: Bigger and Better

The three former Top Gear who have signed for Amazon Prime after all that battle, scandals and exit stories from the BBC have spent months working on the new program for them With hours and hours of scripts, and very expensive supercars in all kinds of scenes productions this new beginning is definitely a bigger and better one with helicopters, drones and a huge production team.

Moreover, The Grand Tour will have that point of irreverence, sarcasm, surprise and excitement that the trio managed to give on the former top gear, which new top gear members failed to deliver.

The Grand Tour also have a bigger budget as each show will cost Amazon £4.5million - more than four times what the BBC spent - as part of The Grand Tour's overall £160million budget. This is why the quality of the images and video seems to be at an exceptional level. But anyone who wants to watch the Amazon show, shot in super high-definition 4K, will have to pay a minimum of £5.99 a month.

What could possibly go wrong?

"What could possibly go wrong?" said Jeremy Clarkson at the end of the trailer. A catchline that makes us more excited than ever. Indeed it seems that there would be nothing wrong as seen in the trailer and with a huge a-listers star already lined up for future episodes such as Matt Damon and Charlize Theron as well as a-lister cars as well.

The teaser-trailer is very short, but it reveals some interesting vehicles. We see the Holy Trinity of hybrid supercars, fighting in the circuit. Okay, Chris Harris has done thatbefore , but seeing JEremy Clarkson, May and Hammond at the wheel of the LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder is something that does not happen every day. You can also see the Aston Martin Vulcan between fire and an Alfa Romeo 4C entering what looks like a citadel in the desert of Morocco.

The Grand Tour will go out every Friday for 12 weeks on Amazon Prime Video. Are you excited? Check out the first trailer and we bet you'll be.
