With a growing number of tuning houses making 6 x 6 variants of various car models, someone had finally made a 6 x 6 version of the Jeep Wrangler. G.Patton, a Chinese Company, has unveiled the "Tomahawk" at the Chengdu Motor Show, and car aficionados were impressed.
It is worth nothing that only a few months ago, G.Patton already made headlines as they presented their 6 x6 Lamborghini Urus. Now they took a standard Jeep Wrangler and added an extra axle at the rear to make it reminiscent of the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6.
According to Car News China, in order to create the Tomahawk, G. Patton cut the iconic American Jeep Wrangler without sacrificing its mechanical V6 Pentastar 3.6-liter from the C-pillar and added a rear closing from a van.
This particular handcrafted beast of a Jeep Wrangler moves through a Hellcat 3.6-liter V6 supercharged engine and can give you up to 707hp. Indeed, we should thank G.Patton. Check out the photos of the Tomahawk here.
The Wrangler Tomahawk is not only longer to accommodate the third row of wheels, it also has 17-inch alloy wheels with 35-inch Mickey Thompson tires, a more aggressive front - worthy enough to enter the list of cars you would not want to see getting closer in your rearview mirror - with a narrow bumper framed and straight-line headlight covers to finish the Tomahawk's aggressive, seemingly angry look.
The price of the limited edition 6 x 6 Jeep Wrangler is still unknown and we also don't really know if G.Patton plans to sell it outside the borders of China. So far, we are holding our breaths and wishing, but if not, car enthusiasts like us might as well start planning a trip to the Asian superpower because the Tomahawk is just too precious to missed.
