NASCAR Sprint Cup 2016 Predictions: Our Top 5 Picks For This Year's Race

The NASCAR Sprint Cup 2016 is to commence this coming Sunday and chase predictions had lodged Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Busch as the most likely race car drivers to win.

NASCAR Sprint Cup 2016 critics have made their predictions about who may be able to overshadow all the other players and win the championship for this year. By assigning point values to Chase drivers based on how they finished in laps this season, laps in the last five races they have participated in, and laps that were led at the Round of 16 tracks, they have lodged the top five race drivers that have better chances of winning this year.

Top 5 Race Champion Predictions

As revealed by Nascar, Brad Keselowski is first on the prediction list followed by Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Busch with Keselowski and Harvick tied with 41 points, Logano at 37, Hamlin at 34, and Larson at 28.5. These points were for the average finish computations based upon the qualifications mentioned above. These points were the summed up values of the drivers on the three categories.

With respect to the leads, the report indicated Kyle Busch tops the ranks followed by Harvick. The leaders were also predicted to be Busch, Truex, and Harvick with Buescher, Dillon and McMurray will be the followers.

In other news, USA Today reported  Keselowski to be one of the possible champions because he was referred to as the fastest drivers for this season. Although he has failed to qualify for the 2014 and 2015 races, his speed during races was deemed to be his best asset and deemed him closer to the championship cup.

Busch also deemed himself worthy of a championship winner prediction since he had won four races this season alone although his wins were inconsistent. On the other hand, Hamlin earned his spot at the top ranks for the NASCAR Sprint Cup 2016 predictions as well since he is racing with the powerhouse Dodge Charger Daytona 500 - a car deemed to be of exceptional features.

Harvick has won the first version of NASCAR's elimination round during the 2014 competition, finished second during the championship race last year, and was said to be only disadvantaged for his crew issues. This year, he is deemed to have better people to assist him during the race which made him part of the NASCAR Sprint Cup 2016 predictions.

Lastly, since Logano wasn't able to finish the race last year due to a suspension, the race car experts deemed him a possible winner as well since he had not been able to redeem himself since then. Given that, his abilities were not maximized last year.

There you have it. The NASCAR Sprint Cup 2016 top five predicted champions for this year are Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Busch. Who do you think has the best bet at winning?
