2018 Mazda CX-5 Spotted, Completely Redesigned Compact SUV To Be Unveiled This November?

A car spy just spotted the all-new 2018 Mazda CX-5 out in the open - and it looked quite vamped up. The new model was reported to be possibly available for purchase as early as late this year or by 2017.

The Mazda CX-5 model has been labeled as one of the flagship automobiles of the brand and its redesign had been considered as a crucial factor to constantly drive sales up like its predecessor.

The Model Upgrades

As reported by Motor Authority, the 2018 Mazda CX-5 model will be upgraded in terms of its weight, performance, and exterior design. It will not only be light but will also be flexible with an upgrade to its power as well.

The 2018 Mazda CX-5 will be powered by a 2.0-liter, 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque engine that has 184 hp and 185 lb-ft. in specs.

Furthermore, the model is said to be available in both automatic and manual transmissions along with varied color choices to its body. Other updates on the model include driver aids such as lane keep and blind spot warning systems along with a traffic sign recognition system.

The unit had also been deemed to have fused the SUV into a more compact frame.

Price and Availability

As reported by Cars In Trend, the brand new 2018 Mazda CX-5 has dominated car sales this year and is expected to consistently hold the title by next year as the redesigned model will be released.

The said updates were estimated to value the unit to at least $22, 675 (the price of its predecessor) up to $24,000.

The brand new 2018 Mazda CX-5 may be available for purchase later this year and may be featured at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show this November. Some reports claimed that it may be released at a later date - sometime in 2017 as the 2018 model.
