Upgrades On Some Online Applications To Help You Expand Your Online Business

Social media and other online applications play a big role in businesses nowadays. In this world where everyone is connected to their computer screens and mobile phones, it is a must that you establish online apps for your business. 

Running a business or a company that runs virtually is not impossible and is now actually a trend. Employees can work from the comfort of their homes. Virtual work nowadays can be hassle-free and effective, provided that the company or a business uses the best apps available.

This week, some apps and websites that are great for businesses and virtual companies updated their game to suit the needs of users. 

1. Microsoft's "Skype Teams" on better chat tools to face Slack.


Chat tools are essential in any online business or company, one of the best one and widely used tool is Slack, a cloud-based service dedicated to team communication. 

Skype planned to purchase Slack but decided to develop something of their own and came up with Skype Teams. This functions like Slack, but the only difference is that threads are available in Skype Teams, like the comment section available on Facebook that has the "reply" function.

2. Facebook expanded the "Lookalike audience" tool for small businesses.

This expansion of the Lookalike Audience tool allows small business owners target customers abroad by allowing companies to reach similar Facebook profiles worldwide. This will make it easier for businesses to reach more people with the same interest as the products that they are offering.

3. PayPal partners with Mastercard

PayPal partners with Mastercard to make it a clear payment option within PayPal. This will also enable Masterpass (MasterCard's digital wallet) as a payment option for PayPal's Braintree merchants. They already opened this partnered with Visa and expecting to increase the appearance and availability of PayPal as a payment option. 

Businesses that uses PayPal as a Payment option can then offer more access to their customers.

4. Android Pay will now be available in Chrome

Another online payment, Google's Android Pay will now be available on the web via Chrome. This will enable easy access and easy checkouts and safer transactions. 

This latest expansion also adds some much-needed support for major banks. Americans can finally use Visa cards with Android Pay. This will create another payment option to cater customer needs.
