Koenigsegg Unveils Agera RSR in Japan, Limited to 3 Units Only

The Koenigsegg Agera RSR made its debut yesterday at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Tokyo. Unveiled by Koenigsegg founder Christian Von Koenigsegg himself, this supercar will be so exclusive that only 3 units will be made. The first 2 units were unveiled at the event while the third one is set to be unveiled at a later time.

Say Hello To The RS Family

The RSR Agera Agera is part of the RS family, which is composed of 25 cars that will be manufactured separately. However, it also gets special touches and inspiration from the Koenigsegg One:1, which is one of the most exclusive cars in the world, with only 7 units being made. When it comes to these exclusive automobiles, one can expect an awesome performing car.

The RSR features mounted an air inlet in the ceiling that used to cool the V8 engine of 1,160 hp, unlike the One:1, this can be adjusted to perfectly fit the car if the roof is removed. Thanks to this engine, the RSR can accelerate from 0 to 400 km/h in just about 20 seconds and can its top speed can reach a staggering 430 km/h.

It also features a mounted rear spoiler which it shares from with the Koenigsegg Agera RS. This rear spoiler claims to improve downforce and make the RSR move even faster. Aerodynamic parts used in the RS models are also present.

What Makes It So Special?

The base and many of its components may be the same as the Koenigsegg Agera RS, but the truth is that the Agera RSR has a number of features that make it worthy of its unique status. The most striking of all is the presence of a spectacular series of rear spoiler made of carbon fiber - one element that certainly is not on the RS. The roof style of the RSR, rear wing and the carbon fiber doorways of the vehicle are also very unique.

If all this does not sound exclusive enough for the future owners of the Koenigsegg Agera RSR, they can always use the customization program offered by the manufacturer.

Prices for both Koenigsegg Agera RSR and Koenigsegg Agera RS was not revealed. Meanwhile check out the video below to glance at the exclusive supercar.
