BMW released photos of its new F 700 GS and F 800 GS on its website Monday.

The 2013 models of entry and mid-level GS motorcycles is the first time in five years to see a major change.

"As always, BMW Motorrad has faced the challenge of taking something that is already good and making it even better, consistently focusing on building on the characteristic strengths of the GS in refining the concept," wrote BMW in the statement.

The F 700 GS is designed for everyday use, balancing the power and economy. The new F 800 GS is more geared toward off-road experiencing.
