Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr. Celebrate Wedding Anniversary

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. celebrated their fourteenth wedding anniversary just recently, and Gellar paid tribute to her husband by posting a sweet photo on Instagram.

The actress, who gained widespread prominence for her portrayal of vampire killer Buffy in the WB hit "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," shared a pic of herself and Prinze Jr. about to go in for a kiss to her one million followers with the caption "Happy anniversary @realfreddieprinze You stole my heart, so I got my revenge and took your last name!!"

Gellar and Prinze first met when they both worked together on the 1997 slasher film "I Know What You Did Last Summer," before reuniting for the live-action version of the "Scooby Doo" film series, according to Too Fab.

They married in Mexico in 2002 and have two children together: six-year-old Charlotte and three-year-old Rocky. Eldest child Charlotte also marked a recent milestone on Tuesday when Gellar posted a pic of her daughter holding a sign that heralded her first day in first grade. "And just like that, she is off to #firstgrade #backtoschool #MyCharlotte," Gellar captioned the pic.

Gellar admitted that the couple took their time in having children because they wanted to have "the solid base that we have now." And she adds that the secret to a happy marriage is good communication.

"That's my secret. It's not a secret, but it's how I handle all my good relationships, whether they're male-female or not. If you bottle things up, it explodes on you," she said, according to Yahoo! Celebrity.

For his part, "She's The One" heartthrob Prinze believes it's all about keeping his wife happy at all times. "I cook and I clean," he disclosed. "[That way], at the end of the night, when you're ready for what you're ready for, there's no, 'Ah, I'm too tired, babe,'" he said with a laugh.
