Porsche Macan Turbo: Specs, Price And Everything You Need To Know

The Macan Turbo is the latest addition to luxury carmaker Porshe's range-topping SUVs, complete with a Performance Package. Porsche's newest car is equipped with a V6 petrol engine, with a 3.6-litre, twin-turbo capacity, capable of producing the power of 324 kW, up from the regular Turbo, which rated a 30kW lower.

The increase in power enables you to go from 0 to 100km/h in a mere 4.4 seconds, much faster than that of the stock Macan Turbo, which initially could go as fast as 272 km/h, which is indeed, remarkable for any sports utility vehicle. Apart from faster speeds, the Macan Turbo is also equipped with larger brakes for better control, a lower body, sports exhaust, and brake callipers with a red hue.

Another offering would be a special Sports Chrono Package, which would allow shorter shifts compared to that of the PDK auto when the Sports Plus mode is activated. Two more packages, namely the interior and exterior packages are also being put up for grabs by the carmaker to whoever wishes to avail and add to the awesomeness of the Porsche Macan Turbo.

The latter package consists of LED headlights, glossy, black alloy wheels which measure 21 inches, and other black elements. The former package, on the other hand, has a carbon fibre-equipped cabin, an inside made with black leather, and also has Alcantara highlights.

These package offerings are priced $13,000 more than the stock Turbo. Interested buyers could pre-order the said vehicle, and deliveries of which would begin March next year.

Given all these features, from the classy carbon interior, powerful engine, and high-speed capacities, the Porsche Macan Turbo is truly an SUV in a league of its own and is, therefore, worth every dollar.
