Koenigsegg Agera RS 'Naraya' Looks Stunning With A Golden Makeover

As if the Koenigsegg Agera RS with its unique looks and top notch performance credentials aren't mind blowing enough, a particular owner decided to have his unit done up with subtle touches of gold to further add to the looks. The result is 'Naraya' as the car has been nicknamed and the result is stunning, to say the least.

The gold bit will be complementing the carbon fiber body of the Agera XS that itself sports a blue hue. All of it extends to the carbon fiber tub of the supercar, which makes for another first for a Koenigsegg.

The strategic use of gold against blue carries over to the interior as well where the blue Alcantara is further accentuated by the stitching and piping done up in gold. Needless to say, the result is equally eye catching.

Then again, the golden hues are no simple paint job that has been achieved at a modern paint shop. Instead, each bit of is hand crafted by none other than the Italy based master craftsman Ettore 'Blaster' Callegaro who was brought in to the car makers factory in Sweden to impart the special golden finish.

It wasn't a simple job considering that Callegaro had to put in 12 hours each day six days a week attaching the gold leaf to the glued surface. It then required adding the finishing touch using small tools that too has been equally backbreaking. It took two weeks to get the job done though in the end, it has been well worth it.

The car is all set to be handed over to its owners at the Salon Privé Concours d'Elégance at the Blenheim Palace in England, AutoBlog confirmed. The owner's identity is being kept a secret though what has come to be known is that the name 'Naraya' rhymes with their family in some way; and hence their latest prized acquisition too comes to be known such.

This also happens to be just the second Agera RS being customized as per the customer's wishes and being readied for delivery. The only other Agera RS has already been delivered to its owner in the US and sports an orange color theme which again isn't nowhere near the Naraya so far as looks are concerned.
