2017 McLaren 570GT: Test Drive Shows Unit May Be The Perfect Car

Car enthusiast Hannah Elliot took the 2017 McLaren 570 GT for a drive last Saturday during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance event and declared the model to maybe be the perfect car ever built. From its gleaming designs, impressive horsepower, and high-class functionality, the luxury sports car has gained positive reviews.

The Specs

The McLaren 570 GT has been defined as the car that has it all - the engine power that muscle cars possess, classy designs of luxury vehicles, and the flexibility of about every car every built, according to Hannah Elliot of Bloomberg.

With 2,976 pounds, the McLaren 570 GT is 15% less stiff along its chassis, 10% less stiff in the rear, has a new Pirelli P Zeros that makes it run smoothly and with minimal noise, has 562 horsepower on a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, and is able to hit 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds.

It also has a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and a rear-wheel drive which makes it run smoothly, can reach a top speed of 204 mph, and whose interior consists of carbon-fiber racing seats.

On top of that, the frame of the carbon fiber vibes well with the tinted glass roof - a feature that can only be found in the industry's genuine sports cars.

According to USA Today, McLaren hopes to sell more or even double up the values from last year's 1,600 sales of the unit. To be exact, they aim to sell 3,000 units for this year alone.

The Price

The McLaren 570 GT is priced at a whopping $205,960. Buyers may also add up $6,080 for carbon-fiber racing seats, another $2,240 for four Bowers & Wilkens speakers, $990 for Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, and $2,000 more for McLaren's Luxury Design interior packages to go with the purchase.

Car reviews revealed that the 2017 McLaren 570 GThas similarities with Ferrari cars' engine and speed power as well as the signature luxury features of the brand itself.
