Volkswagen Transporter Sportline Brings Power And Style

The Volkswagen Transporter is one of the most popular models of the German car maker Volkswagen, along with the Caravelle, Multivan and California.  The Transporter Sportline won our attention as it reveals the 2016 Volkswagen Transporter T6 transforming the humble light commercial vehicle into a very cool looking van.

"With the 2016 Volkswagen Transporter Sportline we wanted to give the driver and the passengers an even more comfortable and engaging ride," a Volvo representative said.

The 2016 Volkswagen Transporter Sportline has arrived in UK dealerships and is now on sale for £36,295. It will arrive here in the US later this year and will come with a very dynamic look with new side skirts, lowered suspension, unique front and rear bumpers, harder element touches, LED optical lights, an 18 - inch bicolor black alloy wheels, mirror housings in carbon fiber and a "Sportline" badge to finish the look.

The new Volkswagen Transporter Sportline boasts an upholstered seat in black/red skin, specific floor mats and sports steering wheel. In addition, it is completely supplied with the automatic climate control, heated windscreen, navigation system with 6.5 - inch touch screen, Bluetooth and an SD card reader.

Within the first stages of the launch, the Transporter Sportline will be shipped with a 2.0 TDI 180 hp mated to a manual or dual clutch DSG. They will then add the 2.0 TDI Bi-Turbo with 204 Horsepower hp which also comes with two transmission variant after.

The Transporter's new Sportline trim level is only available on the T32 kombi passenger van but is set to arrive with more variants later this year. Also, more wheelbase and transmission options plus a panel van version will be available early 2017.
