Spotted: 2017 Volkswagen Teramont Three-Row SUV

The much awaited Volkswagen Teramont three-row SUV have been spotted by the "carparazzi" from Autohome. Both the exterior design and the interior follows the style guidelines of the latest products of the brand but will surely catches attention with its chrome job and other styling modifications.

Previewed by the Volkswagen CrossBlue Concept at the North American International Auto Show last 2013, it looks like the Volkswagen Teramont is finally here and photos show that it has the family type character on it with a manly touches because if its buff physique. The front is square shaped with square headlamps and trapezoidal fog light both with LED accents on it. The Volkswagen Teramont is then finished with tons of chrome in the body and a big chin that is a familiar characteristic of Volkswagen cars.

The new SUV seven-seater Volkswagen Teramont will be sold in specific countries where the needs are very different from those of European consumers. With just over 4.7 meters long it will be a less luxurious than the Touareg and will target comfortability instead, but will remain part of the range.

According to early rumors the Teramont not necessarily take all - wheel drive , which is common in the United States even in SUVs of this size. However those interested in all - wheel drive should not be dissapointed as the Volkswagen Teramont is expected to pack up some power too.

The carparazzi photos show a badge that reads V6. This could be a sign that the engine of the Teramont might be the 3.6-liter V6 FSI from the Touareg that can give it a 276hp. Another possibility is Audi's 3.0-liter V6 which can give it up to 285hp.

You will not see any official images of the Volkswagen Teramont until the next LA Auto Show opens its doors on November. So enjoy viewing the carparazzi photos while waiting.
