2016 Ford Focus RS: Price, Specs, Details And Everything You Need To Know

The 2016 Ford Focus RS has finally arrived, and it is equipped with state-of-the-art features that will surely make hot-hatch and rally-driving fanatics jump with glee.

The 2016 Ford Focus RS comes with a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder that gives turning of up to 350 lb.-ft. from 350 hp. to the vehicle's four wheels, as well as one-of-a-kind torque vectoring system and a six-speed manual. It also has a speed of up to 165 mph, according to Car and Driver.

Another additional feature that drivers of the 2016 Ford Focus RS need to take note of is its Drift Mode, a feature that was apparently added by the developers of the car manufacturer by accident. The hot hatch has proven to be a hit with the masses and Ford is taking advantage of the trend by presenting a one-day driving course for free.

The RS Adrenaline Academy in Grantsville, Utah is a complimentary driving school from the car manufacturing company, opened exclusively for drivers of the 2016 Ford Focus RS, as well as the drivers who already have the 2017 version of the model.

The school is furnished with classroom discussions, as well as exercises for braking, shifting and cornering. It also gives drivers the opportunity to apply what they learned to all four driving modes of the RS, in particular the drift mode, according to Top Speed. Ford initially held a school similar to the RS Adrenaline Academy called the ST Octane Academy, which was offered to owners of the Focus ST and Fiesta ST models.

The whole course is completely free, but participants will have to shoulder the rest of the expenses such as accommodation and airfare on their own. And if these participants end up wanting more time in the facility, Ford Mustang GT will offer a second-day session at an additional cost. Ford are set to announce schedule of classes so those who want to participate can check out their website for the time being.
