A statement released by the vice president of Amazon Alex, Steve Rabuchin, stated, "We're excited to bring the convenience of voice and Alexa to the Genesis G80 and G90. With this innovative Alexa implementation, customers can now start their car, and get the heat going all just by asking Alexa from the comfort of their own home. We can't wait for our customers to try it out."

Special Features

The Amazon Alexa gives the customers the ability to control their Hyundai Genesis even within the walls of their home. Such feature could come in handy during winter where they wouldn't have to go outside and turn the heater of the car, reported USA Today.

In order for the owner to gain access to the features, they must verify their Personal Identification Number (PIN) upon download of the app.

What makes the feature special is it can be maneuvered through voice command.

For car owners who will avail of the Amazon Alexa, they will be given a complimentary Azon.com Gift Card which may be credited when using Amazon Echo.

List of Commands Available

The voice command may only recognize seven voice commands that the owner should state in verbatim. These phrases direct commands like setting the Hyundai Genesis G80 and G90 car temperature, remote start and stop, remote lock and unlock, remote lights, and remote horns and lights.
