Will.I.Am Gets Car Impounded For Not Having License Plate

Earlier this year Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am announced his own start-up model - IAMAUTO - on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  The white futuristic-looking car, based on the DeLoran DMC from Back to the Future, was custom designed by will.i.am, featuring OEM Chrysler parts and a sound system from Beats by Dr. Dre.

Will.i.am forgot only one thing - license plates.

Last week, Los Angeles police pulled over will.i.am - otherwise known as William Adams - for not having a license plate and for not having proper registration, TMZ reports. The police also impounded his car for the same reasons, and cited Adams, who was reportedly cooperate during the incident.

Aside from the lack of a license plate, the IAMAUTO could be considered a good fit for will.i.am, who often has an eccentric, somewhat future-like approach to both his music and fashion.
