Stars And Their Cars: Top 4 Celebs Who Have A Porsche Collection

Being a Hollywood celebrity must be fancy. Starring in a famous series or an award-winning movie could bring a huge paycheck. Hence, the stars may want to spend their salary by collecting the things they love. But these four celebs choose to invest their hard-earned money in limited edition Porsche models. Check Patrick Dempsey, Ellen DeGeneres, and two more famous people have a Porsche collection.

Dempsey, who is known as the hot and suave Dr. Derek Sheppard in "Grey's Anatomy" is also a car enthusiast. In fact, Car Buzz noted that he is one of the best Porsche collectors in the world.

This dedicated car-lover bought a Porsche 356 after receiving his first acting paycheck. So far, he also has several Porsche collectibles such as the 911 models like Turbo, Targa, and GT3 RS, to name few.

Aside from that, the actor also owned various car models aside from his favorite. But the website wrote that his worst car is the Ferrari Daytona.

More than his career in Hollywood and love for the German automobile, Dempsey also competes for Porsche. He participated in Le Mans and is also known as a respected car racer.

On the other hand, talk show host DeGeneres also loves Porsche. She was seen driving a 993, 997 Carrera S, 4S, GTS and Turbo S, and a Cayenne. 

Although the website stated that she does not buy for the sake of collecting, the outlet noted that DeGeneres loves the model so much that she even married one, Portia de Rossi.

Meanwhile, the car enthusiast may regard Salomondrin as one of the most popular Porsche collectors. Alejandro Solomon in real life, he has owned two 918s, a Carrera GT, a 991 GT3 RS, a 997 GT3 RS 4.0, and a Cayman GT4, aside from  a 911 R and GT2 RS on order. Check out his YouTube videos here.

Lastly, comedian Jerry Seinfeld is also one of the greatest Porsche collectors. He owns a lot of models that he needed to put an auction. 

Some of the rare models that were put in the bid are  1955 550 Spyder, 1974 911 Carrera 3.0 IROC RSR, 1994 964 Turbo 3.6 S Flachbau, 1998 Porsche 993 3.8 Cup RSR, 2000 Porsche Carrera GT Prototype, and a 2011 Porsche 997 Speedster.
