Spotted: 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Prototype With Lots of Car Power

Ford mustang had always been one of the greatest makers of muscle cars. Its Shelby GT350R is the most fastest, powerful and radical version of the maker. Not anymore! A monster Mustang was spotted in Michigan this week to the delight of many, it is said to be the 2018 Prototype of the 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.

In the video posted by fan forum Mustang6G The appearance of the Shelby GT500 will not go unnoticed as it is superb. Its body is also widened for aerodynamics purposes and includes a large fixed rear spoiler . Aside from that everything else under its hood are still rumors.

But if rumors are true, this Mustang will be a strong rival to its current competitors. We speak of models such as the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 which reaches 659 hp or Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with 717 hp.

This is because, sources are telling that it would have 750 hp supercharged with a Voodoo V8 5.2 - liter engine cross-plane crank version of the flat-plane crank naturally-aspirated we've seen in the Shelby GT350 with the main addition of two superchargers under the hood that would lead to improved performance.

It has also been rumored that it can be a V6 3.5 - liter EcoBoost same as we have seen in models like the F-150 Raptor. Another source says that the new sports car will use the automatic transmission 10 speed which was recently presented by Camaro ZL1.
We will have to wait until later this year or early 2017 to see the glory of the 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.
