Pokemon GO developer- Niantic, has been facing issues since the last update. The players are disappointed because the company removed all the third party tracking site which helped them catch the creatures. Meanwhile, another news revealed that application still works on some devices.

Soon after the massive update, gamers were quick to notice the big change about the game. Niantic opted out the "Nearby" feature that enables to players to see if a Pokemon is only a few steps away.

However, the issue came at hand when the players realized that they can no longer use the said system. There was also a previous report that third-party tracking sites such as Pokevision are facing a legal suit.

In return, Pokevision's creator Yang Liu sent an open letter to John Hanke and Niantic. Liu is pleading on behalf of the Pokemon GO community to at least restore the system.

Things have changed after the update but it looks like many are still pissed at it. But there might be a light at the end of the tunnel after a new report stated that there might be a way to reactivate the scanning apps.

Are there any alternatives for finding Pokemon? According to Heavy, the developers at the Pokemon GO community are still contemplating on the matter.

Reddit user u/Rkey_ provided help for the dedicated Pokemon GO players. His YouTube video explaining how to track a creature without the use of the third party site is beginning to get hundreds of views.

While the developers are working hard to produce a new tracking for the benefit of each player, BGR suggests that players should try searching for the Smart Poke V.2.
