A lot of people have thought that the Apple car will be released in 2020 but on the current report according to The Information, the release date is estimated to be in 2021.

Apple is very particular to their computing system because they wanted to have secure in-house servers that process the massive amounts of data the vehicles will produce which caused the delay of the release of this car.

Comparing Tesla and Apple to this issue, Tesla has been using Amazon Web Services but on the other hand, Apple is somehow doubtful on this approach with the Apple Car. Moreover, the "Project Titan" supposed leader Steve Zadesky is no longer working for the Apple Company.

However, Apple is still very different from other electric automotive producers such as the General Motors and Tesla. However, Elon Musk, the Tesla's CEO is reported to have called the Apple's better late than never approach a missed opportunity.
