Is the 2016 Toyota Prius The Best And Most Fuel Efficient Hybrid Car? Find Out.

One of the most successful hybrid cars is the Toyota Prius, and it has just been reported that the 2016 model of the vehicle is the most fuel-efficient vehicle of its kind all over the world as per consumer reports.

PKKH reported that the Toyota Prius is a five-sea automotive and is one of the vehicles that features both fuel economy, style, and elegance. A survey made within the market of hybrids proves that the 2016 Toyota Prius is the best choice for a family vehicle and fuel efficiency. It was the first-ever hybrid to enter mass production after the international launch back in 2000.

Accordingly, what makes the latest model of the Toyota Prius stand out among all the other hybrid cars is that it achieved a mileage that has never been reached by any other hybrid in the past. It has been noted that Tesla's Roadster was able to achieve the same 119 miles per gallon mileage of the 2016 Toyota Prius but as opposed to the electric car, it does not have lengthy plug-in time to recharge the battery, I4U News reported.

The 2016 Toyota Prius was also compared to Audi's A3 hybrid and it was found out that it reaches 80 miles per gallon only if the vehicle is in its right conditions. For the Prius, it gets a steady 52 miles per gallon in any condition. The 2016 Toyota Prius is also much better than its previous generation which only reached 44 miles per gallon, Auto Blog reported.

The former record holder for the best hybrid car is the Honda Insight, which is only a two-seater. It was able to achieve 51 miles per gallon.

Although it has become this year's best hybrid car in the world, the 2016 Toyota Prius could face possible competition such as the 2016 Toyota Mirai that has achieved 67 miles per gallon. Mirai, however, is not yet available in the market.
