BMW Opens World’s Largest Showroom In Abu Dhabi

German automaker BMW opened the world's largest BMW showroom in Abu Dhabi.

The newly inaugurated showroom in the heart of the Abu Dhabi features exclusive showcasing of BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce luxury cars as well as BMW motorcycles. Abu Motor is reported to have invested $81,680,000 just to build the 35,000 square-meter showroom.

"The Middle East is an important region for the BMW Group. We sold more vehicles here in 2011 than ever before," Member of the board of managment of BMW AG responsible for sales and marketing, Ian Robertson said. "There is tremendous future growth potential in many countries in this region and in the United Arab Emirates in particular."

Well-known dignitaries from around the world, as well as influential personalities and policitans of Abu Dhabi were in attendance for the grand opening of the showroom.  

The glitzy showroom only reinforces BMV's commitment to luxury at its fullest and it's paying off. Sales of BMW, Rolls-Royce and MINI have seen a significant increases in the last two years. The German automaker has seen a rise in sales by 23 percent in 2010 alone. The Abu Dhabi showroom features all models of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce in a wide variety of colors as well as 70 automobiles and 10 motorcycles have been displayed permanently.
