Tesla is seemingly on the brighter side these days especially upon reaching a total of 276,000 preorders in a matter of days for its latest vehicle, the Tesla Model 3. However, production issues rose when reports pointed out that the Tesla Model X production problems could be repeated for the newest Tesla model.

Autoblog reports that the Tesla Model X was able to deliver 2,400 units in Q1 of 2016 after a limited deliveries of 208 in Q4 of 2015 which means that the Model X was down to 2,600 deliveries in total. And this is caused by the limited or shortage of parts for the Model X, the publication adds.

Furthermore, the news agency revealed that Tesla themselves put the blame on hubris for the delay. Saying that its own "hubris in adding far too much new technology to the Model X in version [one]," Tesla said in a statement as per the news outlet.

Meanwhile, Market Watch reveals that after resolving the issue with hubris, the Tesla Model X was able to build 750 vehicles in a single a week by late March but of course the deliveries to the consumers were already delayed.

"The parts in question were only half a dozen out of more than 8,000 unique parts, nonetheless missing even one part means a car cannot be delivered," the statement from Tesla reads as per the publication.

However, Tesla now assures that this will not be repeated for the Tesla Model 3 despite the fears of many especially when there are already thousands who each deposited $1,000 to reserve their own Tesla Model X for 2017 deliveries. "Tesla is addressing all three root causes to ensure that these mistakes aren't repeated with the Model 3 launch," the statement adds as per the news agency.

Tesla Model 3's prototype was officially unveiled last Thursday by Tesla's Chief Executive Officer, Elon Musk in California.
