New Bandit Trans Am Presented in New Burt Reynolds Starred Ad

The newest Bandit car series has finally been revealed and presented in a way that gives excitement to Trans Am fanatics including "Smokey and the Bandit" fans. The film series which initially released in 1977 starred Burt Reynolds and now, Reynolds is the ambassador of the new brand seen on the the latest advertisement video on Youtube posted in recent weeks.

The car, which is from the Trans Am Worldwide was edgy and had strong features not just because of the vehicle's specifications but because of the style and story of Reynolds himself as his character was fully interpreted through the newest Trans Am car series.

Motor Trend reports that the car company, famous for its Pontiac brand which was released in 2008 is now going back to its original style with releasing a fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaros into modern-day Pontiac Trans Am coupe.

The newest Bandit Trans Am car is the modern interpretation of what Reynolds character, Bo "Bandit" Darville rode in the film series. The exterior features include the classic black and gold colors of the car as was evident in the film.

Furthermore, Auto Blog reveals that the famed chicken wings on the doors of the vehicle are the very core design that is just distinct with all the other cars and is a signature of the "Smokey and the Bandit" film series.

Meanwhile, what's under the hood is just as important and Motor Trend reveals just how competitive the Trans Am Bandit car is for its consumer. It features a supercharged LSX 454-cubic-inch (7.4-liter) V-8 crate engine moving out 840 hp and 790 lb-ft of torque. The T-Tops and boosted LSX crate engine are also up for grabs if preferred.

All these are included with a starting price of $150,000 and the most exclusive part of all this is that the Bandit Trans Am brand will just have 77 units as per Auto Blog. So better write an early check book to get one of the 77 highly anticipated vehicles this year.
