Aston Martin's First And Only DB10 Going Up For Auction In February

James Bond fans will be happy to hear that they will soon have the chance to own the secret agent's Aston Martin DB10.

The sports car, which was featured in the most recent 007 film "Spectre," will go up for sale at Christie's King Street auction house on Feb. 18 in London, and it is expected to sell for at least $1.4 million, according to Autoblog.

Aston Martin designed 10 DB10s for the film, and most of them were modified for production for filming, with the exception of two of them. The one going up for auction also has the signature of Daniel Craig, who has been portraying Bond in the past few 007 films. The 10 DB10s were the only ones ever made.

The British sports car manufacturer has designed vehicles for the franchise ever since the legendary DB5, and their relationship has spanned for nearly half a century, SleashGear reported.

Next month's auction will mark the first time in which a private individual will have the opportunity to own a luxury car with such a grand history in Hollywood.

The Aston Martin that will be going on sale has a 4.7-litre V8 petrol engine and a top speed 190 mph, BBC News noted. However, whoever ends up owning the vehicle will not be able to drive it on public roads.

A total of $36 million worth of cars was reportedly destroyed during shooting for "Spectre."

Aston Martin doesn't plan on ending the DB series with the DB10, as the DB11 will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, which will take place in just a few weeks, according to SlashGear. Features expected for the DB11 include a new chassis and a new engine.
