Nissan Juke-R Trounces Supercars in Dubai, And You Can Buy It

Nissan's new insane Juke-R racer will be coming to market, the company said Thursday, after a positive response when the little beast trounced a flock of supercars in Dubai.

The little black beast which trounced a pack of supercars at a makeshift track in Dubai on video recently, has caught the attention of a "high-profile and well-respected member of Dubai society," according to the company.

The new little racer could sell for as much as seven figures, if reports from Top Gear are taken to be an indication of eventual cost. And to think that the top-trim regular Juke costs just $23,930 MSRP. More likely, though, it'll be for $600,000, or about the cost of 25 regular Jukes.

The cost will probably be worth it, though, as the Juke-R will sport the 2012 Nissan GT-R's enormous 545 horsepower engine, which will allow the car to travel at a blistering 160 mph. The concept has already performed quite admirably under the hand of Nissan racing driver Lucas Ordonez, as can be seen in "Desert Nemesis" video the company recently released.

The video can be seen below.
