Rare Bugatti EB112 Seen in Monaco (VIDEO)

A Bugatti EB112 was seen cruising the streets of Monaco. You may have no idea what that is, and rightfully so, because there are only two of these cars in existence.

Revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 1993, the EB112 garnered mixed reviews, according to GT Spirit. It was produced only as a prototype in an effort to create a four-door luxury coupe that was both speedy and spacious. Boasting a 6.0-liter V12 engine, the car galloped from 0 to 62 mph in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph Car Buzz reports.

That stat line is impressive even in today's day and age, never mind in the 1990s. Capable of creating 450 hp, it was a solid mix of both sport and luxury. To help weight distribution and control, the EB112 engine sat near the car's center of gravity right behind the front wheels, according to GT Spirit.

The lucky owner of this extremely rare whip is Gildo Pastor, businessman and CEO of Venturi Automobiles, according to Art Of Gears. It is rumored that there are actually three models of the EB112 roaming around, one owned by the man who designed the car, Giorgetto Giurgiaro. No one knows for sure, and that's what adds to the mystique of this one-of-a-kind rarity.
