Hard for dad to disconnect? The entertainment console has the ability to read emails, texts, and your Facebook and Twitter updates through Bluetooth.

The Tesla Model S is not your average electric car. It’s sleek, luxurious and has plenty of room for passengers in the back seat—and the way-back. The 70D, Tesla's newest iteration of the Model S, boasts a smaller overall output but all of the dual-motor, all-wheel drive prowess. A 240-mile driving range and unlimited free charging at Tesla’s Supercharger stations ought to make dad grin, too.

The all-American Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is one of the best performance values in sports cars today—but that's not the reason we think it's perfect for Dad.
