Ouch: Danica Patrick Crashes at Pocono Raceway Nascar Event

Things were looking good for race car driver Danica Patrick at last weekend's Axalta "We Paint Winners" 400 at Pocono Raceway—until they weren't.

The driver of car number 10 was enjoying a good day on the pavement when her car collided and then bounced back off the track wall, just shy of completing the race. According to Fox Sports, after the impact, at least one of her tires disintegrated, causing her to lose her 11th-place spot. Patrick was able to maneuver her car into pit lane, where mechanics were able to make a fix. Just after, once she had regained a spot on the track in 33rd place, more tire trouble forced her back into pit lane and into 37th place overall with seven points.

This isn't the first time that Patrick has crashed on the Nascar circuit. Martin Truex Jr. went on to win the race at Pocono Raceway.
