2016 Range Rover Leaked Pricing Guide Shows Diesel Engine Will Cost $1,500

If you're looking for a reasonably priced diesel SUV the 2016 Range Rover Td6 might be the way to go.

Land Rover blog Oval News obtained and leaked a 2016 Range Rover pricing guide this week that indicates how much the gas and diesel options will cost.

Though the automaker hasn't said anything official yet, the Td6 diesel option will apparently be sold for $66,450, while the Sport SE is listed for just $64,950, not including the $995 destination and delivery fee.

The Td6 will feature a 254-horsepower 3.0-liter V-6 turbo engine under the hood and fuel economy estimates are expected to reach around 22 mpg city/ 28 mpg highway, according to Land Rover.

The 3.0 Td6 diesel and supercharged V6 rides are expected to reach dealerships sometime this fall so we should know the official price in a few weeks.

We reported earlier this year that Jaguar and Land Rover will soon offer diesel engine variations for just about model in the near future. What that means is if the diesel Range Rover isn't your cup of tea you'll still have plenty of other options to choose from, like the Jaguar XE sedan.
