The Sultry Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Continues to Tease Us in New York

For the second time in as many domestic auto shows as we can remember, Alfa Romeo put on a display of its past and present beauties at the New York auto show. The Italian automaker's stand was littered with classics, like a gorgeous, red 33 Stradale, as well as the 4C Spider, the Alfa that will write the automaker's next chapter.

A not-so-subtle question remains: When will we be able to drive it?

The 4C Spider should be on sale this summer, and it will join the 4C coupe as the second Alfa Romeo in the two-model lineup. The lightweight sports car will share most everything with the coupe, including its four-cylinder engine and lovely exhaust note.

Don't get us wrong: We are definitely not tired of seeing priceless historic models on display, but we cannot wait for the future to arrive.
