Is Mercedes-Benz Building a 503-HP Van Supercar?

Without much fanfare, Mercedes-AMG—the high-performance tuning arm of Mercedes-Benz—may have just introduced the supercar of full-size vans.

A mysteriously posted tweet and Instagram post early this morning with a broken out-link suggests that a Mercedes-AMG Sprinter is indeed on its way, replete with the 4.0-liter biturbo V-8 found in both the Mercedes-AMG C63 and GT S.

If the 503-hp van is indeed a reality, and not an early April Fool's Day joke, then it negates what we learned earlier this year from Claus Tritt, who said that no such project was in the works.

Whatever the case, we're angling for the keys.
