‘Fast & Furious 7’ Spoilers: Two Dodge Muscle Cars Confirmed

Two Dodge muscle cars will be featured in the next installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise "Furious 7" due in theaters April 3.

Dodge, which has been an important part of the blockbuster franchise since the very first film, announced this week that a Candy Red 2015 Charger and Sublime Green and Black 2015 Challenger will be featured in the film.

"Fast Dodge cars, adrenaline-filled action and heart-pounding music have fueled the Fast & Furious movie franchise," said Chief Marketing Officer, FCA - Global Olivier Francois in a company statement.

The Charger will be driven by Dom Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, in a number of intense chase scene throughout the film, while the Challenger R/T will be driven by Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez.)

An armored 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited driven by Tej Parker (Ludacris) is also featured in the film, according to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

Not only did Dodge provide vehicles for the movie, but the automaker also said the 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and Dodge Viper GTS and a number of other models will be featured in music videos being released by Atlantic to support the "Furious 7" soundtrack.

"For the first time, Dodge is broadening its long-time partnership with an innovative new Atlantic Records collaboration that truly expands the power and reach of the Fast & Furious franchise and provides a natural extension for showcasing Dodge's most powerful new performance vehicles to movie, music and car enthusiasts everywhere," said Francois.

In total, FCA has provided approximately 30 vehicles for the highly-anticipated film, which also stars the late Paul Walker, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson and Lucas Black.

Dodge released new TV commercials to promote the film, including a national ad featuring the 2015 Dodge Challenger.
