The BMW Group, as the main partner of the Berlin International Film Festival for three years in a row, hosted the stars with their luxury vehicles to the red carpet.

The vehicles involved at the festival are not only the current available models such as BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo, BMW 7 Series sedans and the brand-new BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé, but also included historic models that appeared in films. The BMW 326 Convertible, featured in "The Tin Drum" (1936), the BMW 501 from "Funkstreife Isar 12" (1960), and the BMW Z8 from "The World is Not Enough" (1999) are among them.

Another highlight of the event was MINI models taking ten young European stars as part of "EFP SHOOTING STARS". The young actors personally configured the MINI cars they are riding, showing off their creative potential.

The Berlin International Film Festival, attracted by 4,200 journalists from over 110 countries, is one of the most well known film festivals in the world. Around 20 films will strive to go for the awards such as the Golden and Silvers Bears every year.
