Detroit 2015: The Infiniti Q60 Concept Coupe Looks Production-Ready

Ahead of the 2015 Detroit auto show, we have the first image of the show car that Infiniti plans to display: the Q60 Concept.

While the Q60 Concept shares some lines with the tasteful, but hardly radically styled Q50 sedan, it's a much more beautifully cohesive design. The large grille borrows heavily from recent concepts, and softness defines the lines that stretch from the front of the car to the back. The interior is expected to feature leather and Alcantara appointments.

Power has not yet been disclosed, but it's likely that the Q50-derived coupe will use that sedan's familiar 3.7-liter V-6. (We can only pray that the Eau Rouge-inspired powertrain will appear.)

Infiniti teased us with a silhouette preview of the Q60 Concept in December, and the Q60 Concept follows a slew of concept cars that seemed to have little chance for production—like the Q80 Inspiration. The fleshed-out Q60 Concept is much more appealing than the drawing, and we fully expect spend several drool-inducing moments once we see the Q60 Concept in person next week.
