Is This the New 2016 BMW 7 Series?

Happy New Year, car fans! Check out this rumored peek at the new 2016 BMW 7 Series--about eight months ahead of schedule.

Expected to launch in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show, a 730d model surfaced this week without any kind of disguise.

BMW Blog says the new G11 and G12 7 Series models will be lighter and more dynamic thanks to materials including "carbon fiber reinforced plastic, magnesium, aluminum and high-strength steels."

The sedan will reportedly be available with four gasoline engine options as well as one diesel and two hybrids. The new 7 Series will also feature a large LCD screen on the dashboard and various trim and leather options for a luxurious interior.
