Memphis Grizzlies Replace Intern's Stolen Car With New Nissan (VIDEO)

When a Memphis Grizzlies intern's car was stolen last month the classy NBA team decided to step up and buy him a Christmas gift he'll never forget.

The intern, identified as Brandon Henderson on the team's website and Facebook page, had his 1993 Chrysler New Yorker stolen while he was out at an art gallery the day before Thanksgiving, according to The Commercial Appeal.

The ride was taken before the team went on a six-day road trip and was Henderson's only means of transportation.

After learning about what happened, the team decided to chip in and help their intern out.

"My man had a tough time, he lost his car, somebody stole it," said eight-time NBA All-Star Vince Carter in the video before surprising Henderson in a parking garage. "Everybody chipped in for him for Christmas, you know, it's the holiday season of giving. That's what we wanted to do."

Forward Quincy Pondexter can be seen in the video blocking Henderson's view before stepping aside to reveal a brand new Nissan bearing a red bow.

"He's trying to hold back the tears right now, but, hey, he should cry," Carter says.

Fellow Grizzles Courtney Lee, Nick Calathahes, Tony Allen and Mike Conley can also be seen in the video.

The ride was presented to the 24-year-old the morning before the team loss to the Chicago Bulls.

The players egged Henderson on to get behind the wheel of the car and pull the bow off. The video ends with Allen yelling "Surprise!"

"I don't know how the guys found out," Henderson said, according to the Daily Mail. "I kept it like that because I try to keep stuff that happens at home away from work. It didn't seem real. It seemed like a dream. It's like stuff you see on TV. They didn't have to do it, but it's a blessing."

You don't have to be a fan of the Grizzles to appreciate their generosity.
