Toyota Holds Back in New Tacoma Teaser (VIDEO)

Toyota isn't giving much away when it comes to the anticipated all-new Tacoma pickup, which is slated to launch on Jan. 12 at the North American International Auto Show.

The automaker has released a new teaser video to give car fans a taste of the pickup truck's off-roading capability, showing plenty of mud and splash but little of the Tacoma itself.

"Backed by a heritage of unwavering capability, an unbreakable attitude and new, rugged tech, Tacoma's off-road prowess is more formidable than ever," Toyota described the redesigned 2016 model in a statement. "This is how we make America's best-selling midsize pickup for the last 10 years [based on industry data as of November] better in every way."
