(VIDEO) Reputation Defender: Fiat Brushes off Quality Issues in New Commercial

Fiat has a bit of a reputation in the United States when it comes to vehicle reliability, stemming as far back as decades ago when the Italian brand first arrived here. Customers were in the repair shop so often that they swore their mechanics could buy boats with the revenue received from Fiat products.

That's why we love the latest Fiat commercial for the upcoming 500X crossover sport-utility vehicle, which pokes fun at the saying "Fix It Again, Tony." Although the commercial doesn't absolve Fiat from issues with the 500X crossover—or sister company Jeep's related Renegade crossover—it goes a long way from simply defending or promoting its product.

At any rate, this Fiat commercial is funnier and more effective than the recent round of GIF-based commercials from the automaker.
