A Swiss mobility lab has created a concept based on the popular Tesla Model S that takes autonomous driving to the next level.

Called the Rinspeed XChangE, the tweaked Model S from Rinspeed will debut at next month's Geneva Motor Show as a concept vehicle, Jalopnik reported.

Emulating a possible "future of autonomous driving," the XChangE shows how a car's interior could look if drivers don't have to worry about handling the vehicle at all, according to Green Car Reports.

The concept's seats have been reconfigured to slide into up 20 different positions by sliding, tilting and swiveling to give occupants better placements for non-driving pursuits.

When motorists don't have to worry about being behind the wheel, they can relax, work or be entertained, something the XChangE demonstrates.

The car has a steer-by-wire driving system that lets the steering wheel slide to the middle of the dashboard to give the driver more room. The XChangE also features four screens, the largest running nearly 4 feet along the dashboard. Another monitor in the back comes in at 32 inches.

Described as "a car, office, living room and trendy urban space all in one go," the concept boasts LTE data transfer and cloud-based sharing service, according to Green Car Reports.

Other than a coating from Evonik Industries that adds a "shimmery" texture to the roof and cools the interior, the outside of the concept is mostly left untouched.

Rinspeed hasn't revealed whether or not the concept actually runs on driverless technology, but the XChangE does offer a glimpse into potential cars of the future.

The Swiss tuner doesn't make cars for production, but elements from the XChangE concept will likely make their way to new vehicles soon, said Green Car Reports.
