McLaren Automotive has revealed pictures for its new 650S before the vehicle's official debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Photos confirms a number of different aspects about the vehicle, including a brand new front bumper that gives the vehicle a "dramatic, yet clean appearance," according to the automaker.

The bumper is right underneath new LED headlamps.

"As always with McLaren, the new design is there for good engineering reasons," says McLaren Automotive CEO Mike Flewitt, according to the news release. "The newly designed front bumper improves downforce and steering turn-in. The high speed handling balance is now even better. The LED lights use less power and last longer."

The 207 mph vehicle will sit alongside McLaren vehicles like the 12C Sypder, 12C Coupe, and P1. Designers used the 12C for inspiration, but also used lessons learned from the P1 as well to make the powerful vehicle, according to McLaren.

McLaren also confirmed the 650S is equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 now producing 641 hp. Torque has been bumped up from 442 lb.-ft. to 500 lb.-ft.

"McLaren is a fast moving company, continually striving for improvements and technical advantages. We are always seeking to innovate, to be the class leaders, to bring new technologies and thinking to market. That's our Formula 1 heritage shining through," said Flewitt. "Everything we've learnt from the 12C and the McLaren P1 has gone into the design and development of the McLaren 650S."

The 650S is capable of sprinting from 0-62 mph in 3 seconds, and from 0-124 mph in 8.4 seconds according to the automaker.

The official debut of the new vehicle will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at the 84th International Geneva Motor Show.
