Kia has announced its 2014 Optima will be sold for $22,300, including an $800 destination fee, according to the automaker.
The new price reflects a $150 price increase compared to its predecessor, the 2013 Optima.
Kia's 2014 Optima comes with an upgraded front and rear fascias, new LED rear taillights, and improved rear diffusers, according to the automaker.
Blind spot detection is also an optional feature available to all consumers as part of the $2,000 Technology package.
The Technology package also provides a navigation system with rear camera display, back-up warning system and Sirius traffic alerts, according to Kia.
Kia did mention that those who want the Technology package will also have to get the $3,150 Premium package.
The Premium package comes with features like a heated steering wheel, power folding mirrors, and a panoramic roof, according to Kia.
The 2014 Optima debuted last spring at the 2013 New York Auto Show.
Other vehicles that competes with the new Optima includes the new Ford Fusion, Hyundai Sonata, and Honda Accord.
Kia also revealed its 2014 Optima SXL Turbo will be sold for $37,100, including shipping.
