Josh Romney pulled four people out of a car accident on Friday, according to a tweet on his Twitter page.

The middle son of former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney included a photo of himself at the scene of a car accident, BuzzFeed reported.

"I was the first on scene to the huge accident on 4500 South last night," he said on his Facebook page. "Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured and I was able to lift all four passengers out of the car. The car just missed us at the intersection and hit this house going about 70 mph. You can see from the pic that we are in the homeowner's kitchen."

Local news station KSL News of Salt Lake City reported an accident that matched Romney's description.

A car driving at the 4500 South exit failed to follow the curve, instead crossing two lines of traffic and crashing into the front of a house. All the occupants of the vehicle as well as the person in the house escaped uninjured, according to Salt Lake County Sheriff Jim Winder.

"It really is a miracle," Winder said. "This is an unfortunate location. We have had a real history here."

Romney received some ire for the "humblebrag" tweet and its smiling photo, according to the New York Daily News.

"Why are you smiling like a tourist at such a horrific scene?" one angry Twitter user sounded off.

The incident isn't the first time a Romney has stepped in to help. Josh Romney and his brother Craig assisted their father in rescuing a family of capsized boaters at a New Hampshire Lake in 2007, the Boston Herald reported.

"We heard a whole bunch of screaming ... We tore out of there and my dad hopped on the other Jet Ski and came out right after us," Josh Romney said. "We were just lucky to be in the right place. We did what anyone else would have done."
