The highly anticipated video game "Death Stranding" by legendary video game maker Hideo Kojima will likely be released next year. An Easter egg from the game "Horizon Zero Dawn" alluded to the upcoming video game and caused a lot of gamers to geek out.

According to Segment Next, a screenshot taken from the Italian version of "Horizon Zero Dawn" shows a shout out to the upcoming Kojima Productions video game. Apparently, a necklace (Abandoned Amulet) decorated with six blocks of ionized metal shows the company's logo as its menu icon.

Sound familiar? This could be the necklace Norman Reedus was wearing in the trailer. The necklace with six blocks of metal was also seen during E3 2016. Reedus, who is famous for portraying Daryl Dixon on the AMC's "The Walking Dead," will star in the PS4 game "Death Stranding" alongside Madds Mikkelsen. Mikkelsen is famous for portraying Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the TV version of "Hannibal."

In another report, Video Games Republic also noted another Easter egg from "Horizon Zero Dawn." The Guerilla Games new video game will allow players to wander around a vast open world and hunt mechanical monsters. The creatures are said to drop items that can be traded to merchants or used to craft other items.

Interestingly enough, two of the Very Rare items from the video game feature a very familiar icon - the Kojima Productions Logo. The items that have the logo are called Stranded Shackles and Stranded Figure. The items appear to be a reference to Hideo Kojima's game trailers.

These three items are the only ones reported to have appeared in "Horizon Zero Dawn" as a Kojima Productions Easter egg. The game will officially be released soon, so players have over a year to find more Easter eggs until the upcoming Hideo Kojima video game.

"Death Stranding" will hopefully come out next year. It will be Hideo Kojima's first video game since he left Konami to form his own video game studio. The Japanese video game maker is most famously known for his work with the Metal Gear franchise. Are you excited for the upcoming game? Share your thoughts and comments below!
